The girl is willing to send a photo of herself half-naked but not comfortable sharing a phone number with just anyone because “there are a lot of perverts out there”. The tipping point said something about going to her picture or verification site, where you have to make a payment to access more information about her, for her safety of course. If someone is so paranoid that they demand someone go to a verification site to prove that they are 18 years old or older, unmarried, and not a sex offender then they must be crazy or not a real person? If they are so concerned about meeting perverts on the Internet, maybe they should stick to meeting people offline? How can I tell if an ad is placed by a scammer? I reply to the ad with an email that says nothing but the word Whore. If they ask you to join a site to talk to them, any website at all, in any way, shape, or form, real or imagined, it’s a scam. Yes, I do mean all of them. Yes, I mean all of the time. There is nothing in a credit card number that can verify anyone’s age – that’s why you can’t use a credit card as proof to buy alcohol in stores or get into bars. Most posts by men go ignored or are only answered by scammers, hookers and webcam girls, and sometimes the occasional horribly unfortunate-looking fat woman looking for a casual good time.
