You need to be smart and not give up your credit card information because you were emailed some fake photos from a girl who has nothing to do with their site. Is it really to help the girl on the other end verify my identity, and try to weed out the creeps? No! it is just an attempt to lure me in and sign up for some site, preying upon my late night, horny desires and weak state of mind in the wee hours of the morning. There seems to be some (Age Verification) Phishing Scams. They TRY to convince responders that their website verifies people’s age. Not true, they just want your Credit Card information. The scam here is that this is not a real dating site. It does not provide any dating service or verification service. There are no real site members for you to meet. If you give this site your credit card number to verify your identity, what will actually happen is that you may also be signed up for some useless sites. These sites usually are named something like safe date, meet safe, etc. You probably have just as much of a chance meeting someone who is crazy at your local bar or even a church sponsored dance but for some reason these adult verification sites are everywhere on the Internet as if the Internet is the only place that is unsafe to meet people. Scammers will often remove their ads after they get some responses and try to convince people to visit their trap websites. The rules for Craigslist are very simple, everything is done in person. You talk to the girl on the telephone, then you meet her in person. Anytime they ask you to join, it’s a scam. Look for the ads that say write x in the subject line.
