Many of the Women Seeking Men ads are simply bait to get the horny guy to sign up for some dodgy site and put in his credit card number, someone will respond to your ad, and express interest, but will say something like Do me a favor: I’m interested, but I’ve had a bad experience on here before, and am trying to weed out crazies. Sign up on this site, and search for my profile. There are a lot of spammers and scammers working the W4M and Casual Encounters sections of Craigslist. I’ve been replying to ads in these sections for a couple of years now and I can confirm that it’s majorly shady. Those people steal photos off of social networking sites or the internet, and then email them in response to craigslist ads to entice people to sign up for a bogus website to verify who you are. You need to be smart and not give up your credit card information because you were emailed some fake photos from a girl who has nothing to do with their site. Any girl that asks to verify your age using a credit card verification is not really a girl. Girls look for your facebook page, they try and do name searches to see if you are who you say you are. They do not ask for you to enter a credit card into a verification site to proof your age. When girls want to email, I respond with my phone number, and if they call me great, if not, I end communication. Aside from scammers, there’s just so many weirdos that want to email back and fourth that have no real interest in meeting. The scam here is that this is not a real dating site. It does not provide any dating service or verification service. There are no real site members for you to meet. If you give this site your credit card number to verify your identity, what will actually happen is that you may also be signed up for some useless sites. If you are asked to click on some link to a site that needs your credit card number to verify your age – it’s always a scam, no exceptions.
