The majority of easy-girl ads on Craigs casual sex section are posted by jerks hustling for money. Only a few of the ads are in fact legitimate women looking for hookups. There are a lot of spammers and scammers working the W4M and Casual Encounters sections of Craigslist. I’ve been replying to ads in these sections for a couple of years now and I can confirm that it’s majorly shady. Many of the Women Seeking Men ads are simply bait to get the horny guy to sign up for some dodgy site and put in his credit card number, someone will respond to your ad, and express interest, but will say something like Do me a favor: I’m interested, but I’ve had a bad experience on here before, and am trying to weed out crazies. Sign up on this site, and search for my profile. I respond to real emails, from real girls with my phone number, tell them to call me, the ones that don’t weren’t interested anyway. It might not be rocket science, but there’s still an art to meeting girls online, and making it actually happen. There seems to be some (Age Verification) Phishing Scams. They TRY to convince responders that their website verifies people’s age. Not true, they just want your Credit Card information. How can I tell if an ad is placed by a scammer? I reply to the ad with an email that says nothing but the word Whore. Most girls posting on casual encounters are 1: Prostitutes or 2: Ladies operating webcams they expect you to pay for (aka spam).
